大阪市のビジネスパートナー都市（BPC）が一堂に会するBPCラウンドテーブルの開催を契機として、大阪市は環境・エネルギー問題と経済発展についての基調講演や、アジアの都市での取り組みについてパネルディスカッションによる情報共有を行い、環境分野におけるアジアの都市が抱える諸問題の解決と経済発展方策を探ります。
シンポジウム終了後、参加者による交流会（ネットワークレセプション）を開催します。

交流会 - 18：30～20：30

At the occasion of the gathering of the Business Partner Cities (BPC) members, the City of Osaka will be holding Asian Environment Business Symposium to share information and ideas through keynote speeches about environmental/energy challenges and economic development, and a panel discussion on efforts taken by Asian cities. This event aims to find solutions and economic development measures to deal with the various problems faced by Asian cities in the environment field.
A Networking Reception will be held after the Symposium for participants.
